Perhaps too subtle........Some interesting answers but all off tack considering where posted and the majority of thread subjects. There are times when subtlety is overrated.
General Discussions is where threads that don't fit or don't fit well enough in other areas are posted. Threads in this area aren't required to have a definite connection with the others.
This is where you can talk about just about anything from books to the last time you caught your neighbor's dog defecating in your yard.
Perhaps the way the interrogatory was constructed didn't point observers to the best possible answer?

- All can be put on top of a large tin of paint without falling off.
- They are a variant of the game 'Rock, Paper, Scissors' that never really took off.
- They all appear on the web page lulu.boards.net/thread/1004/common
- All feature in Chapter 5 of 'The Big DIY Book Of Torture With Household Items.'
- They all make totally useless wallpaper paste.
- All 3 are deadly poisonous. Except chocolate. And corn flakes. And baked
beans. OK scratch that. All 3 are not deadly poisonous. Sorry about that. Next one. - They are all the wrong answer to the question "Who's the Daddy?"
- They all contributed to the worst snack food launch ever - 'Crispy Choco
Beanys' - chunks of rich chocolate with a crunchy corn frosting and a soft tomato-haricot filling. - They are vital ingredients in a spell to summon the demon Vovshana from the 7th Pit of Hell.
- They would make the worst last meal to be served before an execution. EVER.
- All are made. By people. With families. Likely Underpaid. Wearing white hair nets. In factories. Somewhere.
- You can push them all up your bottom, go to a fancy dress party, shout
"Look at me, I'm a Vending Machine" and rapidly lose all your friends.
Am I getting any closer?

I agree! If you eat them all at the same time.
