Hi,

This morning, I received an email from Lulu asking me to re-submit the source file.

Email:
I hope you are doing well. Our Global Distribution partner has passed along this message from their print floor regarding your project:

I received the following message from the printfloor:

The cover is not correctly centered so the spine is wrong. Will need a new file from the author.

Please revise and resubmit to ensure Global Distribution eligibility.

I am confused as the book has been approved for Global Distribution for a long while now. Has anyone had this request before?

That’s quite normal and reasonable.
Approval is given by a member of Lulu staff.
The printer won’t look at it until an order is received for a copy from them. Other print sources may accept it.

By the way this is Lulu’s standard comment:-

You've approved your proof for Global Distribution!

Retailers will begin the review process shortly and once they approve your work it will be listed on their sales pages.
