I'm still havnig difficulty revising EPUB files... keeps telling me that file is being processed before I even try to upload. I'm not quite sure I've got it right. I revise my EPUB with Calibre and Sigil. Then when uploading (to IngramSpark) there were an estimated 100 error messages. However, many of them were the same thing over and over again. I then corrected them systematically. Since it's similar to HTML, I could somehow understand most of it. I also searched for two or three error messages between quotation marks with the search engine to understand what was wrong. Annoyed that they say this is fixed but it's not. Told me that they were closing the ticket and would let me know when it's fixed. Anybody got any better intel on this situation? Yes, that is annoying and not at all how I understand customer service. (But I am neither a shareholder nor a director of Lulu). That's my tip on how to do it best (it worked so well for me): How to get an answer with your ticket at Lulu.com Support:
- Open a ticket - Ticket is closed automatically - Reply briefly to reopen ("Sorry, it is not resolved, please re-open!") - At the same time, write down the case number, keyword (topic) and date on a sticky note and stick it to the PC. - After a week, ask until when I can expect a solution/answer/etc. Then, at the latest, things started to move ;-)

Let's me upload, but won't let me tick any boxes when I get to the review stage. Help!!! That binding might not be available anymore. Or it might be set to Private or Direct Access. Make them General and change it later. Re: the epub. Validate online anywhere (Google epub validation?) then upload. Just grasping at straws. Everyone is reluctant to play with their own projects for fear something may go wrong.

I took the advice about saving the ticket and asking them to re-open it. Maggie's comment is puzzling. This is an EPUB file... no binding.

How to validate an EPUB file: - Online: validator.idpf.org
- More privacy: on your desktop (1): The same engine, but not online: EPUBCheck is a tool to validate the conformance of EPUB publications against the EPUB specifications. EPUBCheck can be run as a standalone command-line tool or used as a Java library. You may find EPUBcheck as an open source program here: github.com/w3c/epubcheck
- More privacy: on your desktop (2): Standalone "EPUBCheck" application for Windows, macOS and Linux. With the pagina EPUB-Checker one can easily validate eBooks in the EPUB format. The test mechanisms of the EPUB-Checker are based on the official open-source EPUBCheck EPUB validator. github.com/paginagmbh/EPUB-Checker
