Good Evening hub, I just recently found the self publishing hub and was hoping to get some rookie questions answered as I am publishing my first book. I have followed the LuLu specs as best that I can understand them but can't figure out how I can create a dust jacket for a A4 Landscape book. I can't seem to be able to find any template on LuLu for this type of cover. Any thoughts? Thank you for any feedback.

If you can't find a dust jacket template for landscape that size and binding it might not be offered. Regardless, what is your page count? I'll do a bit of research.

Not available for Landscape. At Lulu. With a bit of research and luck we might be able to find a POD that does offer it. Hence, the page count for a bit of testing.

ugh! my page count is 212 pages. The book is poetry, storytelling and paintings, most landscape (rectangular) in shape.

They have A4 at Ingram Spark, hardcover but the only one that is landscape and can have hardcover jacketflap binding is 11x8.5. myaccount.ingramspark.com/Portal/Tools/CoverTemplateGeneratorCan you compromise on the book size? It's a slight change. You can simply resize the final PDF in DoPDF, stretch to fit option.

great suggestion, yes I can easily resize for format. Like all self publishing sites, I hear mixed opinions on Ingram Spark. Do you have any personal experience with them. Thanks very much for your feedback.

Thanks very much for your feedback. I do. They are great. Sign up. They may send you a coupon code. If not Google around. That way you'll have free upload and setup.

Yes Ken, that seems to be the case. Might you have anyother thoughts on who could handle these requirements with fulfillment? Thank you

You may like to consider a traditional printer but of course it does depend to some extent on the quantity you want.
As well as mainstream printers a local small town printer might be able to help.
Thinking outside the box IngramSpark offer a combined cover wrap and laminated cover for a few specific formats (I’m in the process of doing a prestige book for my self in Royal size).
So why not get some books printed in your required landscape format with a normal hard cover and the design and have printed/produced locally some wrap around cover which you can add to the printed copies.
