Since my laptop was baptized in a flood, I have not written anything. It died and it's contents rest inside its chambers. Fighting through this discouragement has led to a flat line. My ideas flicker then quickly disovle. The thought of picking up paper and pen, doesn't look attractive as I'll have to type it out at some point. Typing via phone is awkward. It's auto correct drives me nuts, plus I keep hitting the space bar when I type a letter on the bottom line. So I write not. As to the when, depends on when a get a new laptop, or at the least a functional one. Funds are non exist ant apart from paying the bills and buying food. But I digress. I'm sure this has been asked before (and may be asked again) but what do you use or prefer to use. Traditional pen and paper or straight to pc? For me, as I have stated, it's pc for me.

I appreciate that you took the time to reach out with a help. But unfortunately I will not be in the market to buy a laptop any time soon.

I type much faster than I write, so it's a good ol' PC for me.
And Ken's comment is a good one. Speak your ideas into a recording device of some kind (I use my phone). I do that from time to time and it can be a life saver when I remember I had an idea but can't remember what the heck the idea was. Phone has it!

I use to write a lot with pen on paper, then bought a typewriter when someone said my scribbling was awful. When PCs were invented, and I could afford one, it was in the 1980s. From then on I have moved from DOS to Windows and from Windows XP to Windows 10.
