Haha how about just a cool line from your book without a reference? Why without a reference? If I quoted myself on a T-shirt, I'd certainly write the exact reference under it. I would put the book title but not my name.

I have just realized I forgot to add "a design by © Jean-Paul G. Potet" in the bottom right corner of my picture. I'm not sure they do that for T-Shirts. I did write JC, though, on one occasion, in tiny letters, when I paraphrased Jesus. Whatever is on the uploaded image will be printed. As long as they print the things at all. Some places have 'policies.'
BTW. A web address is just as important.
Perhaps you could find a place that will print on the backs of jackets?

Perhaps you could find a place that will print on the backs of jackets? That's a brilliant idea.

I wore this T-shirt last week, had it machine-washed and ironed this week. It's pure cotton, pleasant to the skin. It has not shrunk, and the colors of my design have not faded. In brief I am satisfied with the quality of this product.

I tried a similar system about a decade ago. The result was not satisfying.

Times and tech changes. At one time usually only OEM ink was waterproof, now even clone ink is. I recall that photopaper for deskjets, and even using so called photo-black cartridges, the image would smear. Not tried it since.

My dad used to develop his own photos. Old school from rolls of films. I recall him not only 'fixing' the image in a tray full of some chemical, but also coating it in something that made them smear proof. I think all photo processors do the same thing, with the option of gloss or matt. But that does not happen when you print out your own on a deskjet. Oh, note that POD, and I suspect all, book covers are laminated.
