Has anyone else noticed this? My latest batch have VERY stiff card covers unlike the fairly bendy ones I’m used to. What with this, and the greyscale printing (and a threat of substituting white paper for the cream) I feel like the end quality is going down hill. I don’t know if it’s just one specific printer, or whether everyone is suffering with this?

I'll look forward to anyone's reply. Our local history society hasn't recently purchased any new stock for local sales but will be doing so shortly.
Also, since Lulu did yet again increase its prices late year, we don't seem to have sold a single book since the end of October last year. Lulu's price hikes will kill them as a business in the end.

Maybe it's all they could get in stock rather than delay filling an order, and it could be just that one company. I would worry if the covers got thinner. Is it a problem they are thicker?
As to Lulu's prices, how is it they can afford to keep having discount offers? It's all a bit of a scam. Increase prices, just so good discounts can be offered, without losing profits.

I have not published anything for a while. How do Lulu's prices compare with KDP's?
