I've been self-publishing for years. Suddenly, my covers don't fit the Cover Template that was downloaded for this project. I really need help. I'm attaching the files so you can see them, they are correct dimensions for a magazine project 8 1/2 by 11. I have attached a screen shot of what is happening in my Paint Shot Pro when I tried to layer the covers on top of the template after I uploaded my interior, which dictates the size of the template. I've never had this problem before. I do this magazine quarterly. Doesn't include monthly books I publish. What is happening? Please help me.

If they're following IS then their templates are now 600 dpi.

Or... create your own cover and upload as PDF, bypassing the template altogether.

I do create my own covers ....... you are forced to upload the template for your own created covers. I always create my own covers.

I never downloaded anything. In Paintshop Pro 95 (yes, actually the 1995 version!) I would design two jpgs (at 600 DPI) to the same size as the pages. One for the front cover, one for the back. Then upload them to the Wizard and drag them to where they belonged. (The ISBN was auto-inserted.) From what I have just seen, I am sure that can still be done. help.lulu.com/en/support/solutions/articles/64000279983-cover-tool-guide

I don't understand. I have never used a template. Anyway, I hope you get it smoothed out soon!

I have always use at least 600dpi. I don't know about Ingram Spark, but Lulu and KDP's Wizards have always accepted them.
