I did not mean biological questions as to how someone can become pregnant. Human females are born with eggs, and reproductive organs. But what I was wondering, was the 5 year old girl actually menstruating? That would be a clue to who is a case of Extreme Precocious Puberty I would have thought. Incidences of Extreme Precocious Puberty on record go back 100s of years. Prior to that they were probably treated as demonic possession! But if they were not menstruating, which would perhaps be impossible not to be, the only other clue to someone so young being able to become pregnant at such an early age, is when they have sex and become pregnant. Although apparently girls as young as 2 are on record of having Extreme Precocious Puberty, without also becoming pregnant, thankfully. The age of consent is a handy law. Humans are strange.

Mister Lomas,
At times you give me a pleasant surprise. Thank you.
For the most part, pregnancy occurs after a girl experiences menarche but it can happen without a girl or young woman experiencing the first menstrual period. And yes, someone so young getting pregnant would normally be due to having sex. Parthenogenesis would be the other possibility in humans, however an even rarer occurrence.
Yes, humans are strange, but nature is even stranger.

I wonder what for.
Actually, there are many signs that someone has Precocious Puberty, but a 100+ years ago I doubt they knew what they were, and the symptoms were thought to be something else. Pass me that Trepanning tool.

Parthenogenesis can occur in humans, but it does not result in a pregnancy. Usually a tumour is the result. Apparently, Virgin is a misinterpretation of an ancient Hebrew word meaning unmarried mother.
Yes, humans are strange, but nature is even stranger. Are we not part of nature then?

An un-hijacked thread is no thread at all.

Hmmm, a discussion on divergent versus convergent evolution? Nimravids come to mind.

I avoided mentioning pussys.
Anyway, the thread was not hijacked, it just sort of, well evolved.

Discussions can tend to evolve if they last long enough.
Nimravids weren't quite cats.

"Nimravides is a genus of extinct saber-toothed cats that lived in North America during the Late Miocene, between 10.3 and 5.332 Ma. Despite its scientific name, Nimravides does not belong to the Nimravidae, but is a true cat, belonging to the family Felidae" so there, nah nah.

Now tell me what distinguishes the Nimravides from the Nimravidae as opposed to the Sparassodonta.

Print on Demand (POD) services offer benefits like no upfront costs, reduced risk of unsold inventory, easy distribution via online marketplaces, and handling of printing and shipping. However, the higher per-unit cost and limited customization options might lead to lower profit margins. Longer shipping times are also a consideration. POD is suitable for authors seeking self-publishing with low investment and risk, but it might not be cost-effective for large print runs. Researching the latest developments and comparing various POD services is crucial to finding the best fit for each project.

I will Approve this posting because I wonder what you get for $399 at 'Amazon Publishing Point'? And that's in the 50% off sale. But it does seem to be yet another site selling services that you have to chat to a sales person to find out prices.
