I've been with Lulu for ages too. I interacted a lot with Kevin and Ron and of course Ken(Who could forget Ken!) Well, he lives on. No one has forgotten him. Maybe in five years I'll stop being furious. Boy do I keep a grudge. Ken helped me but also told me off, particularly about posting in the wrong forum. LOL The Porcupine Any hound a porcupine nudges Can’t be blamed for harboring grudges, I know one hound that laughed all winter At a porcupine that sat on a splinter. – Ogden Nash

I've had so much bad health luck
I'm so sorry to hear that Maggie I hope you get well soon.
PS I did wonder when your lovely picture with a full head of hair was replaced with a person with a bald head. I hope that the "not yet" means that the lovely picture will return soon.

Not yet means I don't want to die yet. It also meant I couldn't travel the world yet. But I've traveled since and my hair is growing back. Ugly as sin but growing.

No harm was ever intended. My reason is that I was quite poorly at the time, I know that it’s not an excuse. Anyway ten years on and still alive and kicking in Sunny Spain. I have lots of fond memories of all those involved in the very early days of Lulu and especially of those of us who contributed in our different ways to the arts of self publishing. Like many of you from those days and after the royalties keep rolling in each month and many publications old and newer are well received around the World.

Yes ElKen is Ken Anderson. Still publishing but more for myself now and strictly on technology or military matters. I’m really sorry to hear that you Maggie are a tad poorly and I hope it doesn’t disabilitate you as my cancer did ten years ago. However I’m still surviving despite being minus a few organs and other bits an bobs. It would be nice to revisit some of the Fora posts from the very early days, I tried the links above but got nowhere, perhaps I’ll try again. Who remembers when the first Lulu Forum dropped out and I started an independent one until Lulu got their act together again. What was the name of the first Lulu Admin?

That Spotlight is at least ten years old so it’s more like 36 years. It’s an old email address as well so don’t try using it please.
