I haven't tried it, but if you have the online web address why not just copy/paste the link in the message?

It's not the cover so I'm not sure whuch section it goes in. I have painted this on the computer but i find it hard to do shading on the comp. What do you think of the solid colours? This is for my childrens' book. It's about factory farms and cutting down trees to make room for them. This is the poem I wrote which was published in my localpaper.(Maggie'said to turn it into a childrens' book. Thanks Maggie)https://www.marketrasenmail.co.uk/news/poem-compassion-at-christmas-saving-our-planet-1-9182135.

Larika, I sent you private message to test picture attachments. It appears that in a private message you cannot directly attach a photo from your computer. You must have the photo stored on an external server somewhere and then link to it with BBcode or simply enter the URL (web address) to the picture using the Picture Button in the tool bar above the message creation window.

Larika,
While I'm not the greatest judge of art, the image does evoke the harsh reality of factory raised animals which can only think about open fields and blue skies.

Thanks S-C. I may get away with no shading as its a childrens' book, but I may put in a few windows in the background to break up the solid black.

Yes the solid black is too overwhelming.

I like it. There is no need for shading so long as you are consistent. There are hundreds of children's books whose illustrations are done in flat colors and they work just fine. I think that perhaps you might want to depict the light from the lamp in just one way, though. The spray of dashes below the pig might be a little confusing. I would either do the light entirely that way (i.e., the broken lines) or show a transition between the solid yellow and the dashes. The first option might be the best since I think it might add some interesting texture as well as a kind of nervous quality. You may want to consider making the lines you have drawn within the pig something other than dark grey...instead, make them a very dark brown, perhaps. You might also want to fill the pig's dream bubble with its imaginary scene, rather than have it within the bubble, surrounded by white. For one thing, this would enable you to make the dream larger.

Thanks Ron, I agree, I'll work on it. The dream sequence must be bigger, it's rather pathetic at the moment.

It's also not pathetic, it's work in progress.

Let's say, I want to share this picture with you. So I put the link here de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kino_Radium#/media/Datei:7162_-_Z%C3%BCrich_-_View_from_Lindenhof.JPG and i f you follow the link, you should see the picture. That it works really, I run over the linkt with thw mouse - it became blue. Then I click on the picture with the globe/earth and a sheet of paper and then on the "create a link" button. This works in pirvate messages and in replays, but not in quick replays.

Thank you Ron, Maggie, Sphinx-Cameron and Benziger, S-C I love the phrase "It's also not pathetic, it's work in progress," Thanks. As I go along I might get better at painting on the computer because I'm going to be at it for a long time!!! PS Benziger I'm afaid your explanation as to how to send pictures sounds a bit complicated for me, but I'll make a note of it. I got your pictures Blue and Gold, Well done!
