Lulu do ship to the UK, but I doubt they have for quite a few months. The skies have been devoid of planes, as have the ports, of ships that is, not planes. That's slowly being relaxed now though. On and off, they can't seem to make their minds up here. Surely UK books are printed in the UK, not flown over from the USA?

Lulu used to have a printer in the UK and postage to an address was just a few days. The same applied to the USA. however I sent one of my books to my son. I ordered it on July 18th and was told the estimated delivery was August!4th.

Indeed, the books I recently ordered did take a few days longer to arrive but there was nothing on the packaging to suggest they had been imported from the USA. Although Lulu has botched its platform migration, I don't see why Lulu would also stop printing locally (in the UK in my case). It wouldn't make any financial sense.

Some books created at Lulu are only made in the USA. Most hardbacks I think are. Usually it says which at the checkout.

As long as the Royal Mail doesn't do home office, it should be fine.

"I thought Lulu was printing in the UK too."
Some book types they do, but even so due to the pandemic many such places have been closed (and some may not reopen) and delivery services down to a skeleton staff. It's hard to drive when you have no eyes.

First time I've seen the notice below in Lulu.
"Due to COVID-19 related travel restrictions and safety precautions, we are experiencing some delays in delivery times. We ask that you allow an additional 5-10 business days for printing and shipping."

Better late then never I suppose. Most places have had such a message for months. But does that message say where to?
