In the same vein ... 'transparencies' in a PDF file ... what does it mean? Did they block it or is it just a warning? Try clicking continue. If it doesn't let you then: Go into Word, File, Save As, click the drop down arrow, select PDF, click on the Option above the final Save tab i n this box, put a checkmark on ISO 19005-1 compliant PDF/A. Test upload the file. Name the PDF PDF/A, book title, date.
If that doesn't do it for you let me know.

No, no, wait. It's possible. How big is your file? How many MB? Right click on properties and let me know.

In the same vein ... 'transparencies' in a PDF file ... what does it mean? It means your file isn't flattened. Try using Word to print a PDF/A file. If you are not using Word try print a PDFx1a 2001 online anywhere.
