I decided to revise my cover of my eBook because I had made a mistake. Anyway I changed it and checked the image source file and all was well. However the old cover is STILL there. Does anyone know how long it takes before the right cover appears in my book store?

Ken I make them in Apache Open Office, and Paintshop Pro. However with my latest children's book it was accepted by Lulu, but I don't know if it will go global. PS the cover still hasn't changed. I may have to delete the book and do the whole thing again.

Do you upload a doc or rtf file for the content?

Larika when revising the ePub at the files stage ensure that you select the new cover image by selecting the file name rather than dragging the new cover image. This should ensure that the new cover is displayed immediately. Also ensure that you step through each and every step of the Revise process making sure all the check boxes are ticked. This should make the new cover appear immediately. larika |

Ken, I did select the file name from my desktop, it was uploaded and I went through all the stages to final revise. it's still not there.

Are the image file names for the original and new the same. I conducted a trial with an ePub and it changed straight away. May I suggest you try again please? As I said step through each and every step of the Revise and check all boxes in the final stage. larikaMessage me if still probs. |

I went upstairs to my computer and although the new cover that I'd uploaded was not the same file name as the one before, it still wasn't showing the uploaded cover, so I made a complete new cover and went through the whole process from start to design and there I put in the new cover, then I completed the process and it worked perfectly. I went downstairs and showed my husband what I'd done, "You've put Wellseeing instead of Wellbeing on the cover," he said. OH NO! Back upstairs tomorrow.  |

AARRRGGGHhhhhh!  That hurts! I did a second edition of my first book recently and accidentally put the ISBN barcode for a different book on the cover. Luckily I caught it the same day I uploaded it so I was only stuck with a single proof copy to destroy. Duhh... |

I tried again, exactly the same way as before when it worked, but this time it wouldn't work, so I've retired the ebook and I'll start from scratch.

I've done that, but Amazon discovered it, notified Lulu, and I had to step back and start over again. Huge hassle. |

Well I finally published my eBook in Lulu. I wonder how long it will take to appear in my store and hopefully in Amazon.  |
