Hi i have no reported book sales from December 2020 and January 2021 but a few sales this month February on Lulu site. Nothing on other sites like Amazon, Scribd etc. I talked to Lulu via a ticket and also by Facebook. Both times they said i have no December sales. This is hard to believe as i use 2 writing names under 2 accounts which is 2 sets of data. I have a few free promo titles and always have a few or lot of these each month listed in the numbers. I've regular monthly data from before the terrible Lulu site upgrade till the end of November 2020.
So i think there is either a system error or the data hasn't been reported in yet off the multiple sites. Unsure why and will not guess. Has this happened to anyone else? On Facebook 2 people complained of not having any sales data from December 2020 and January 2021 so i am not alone. I want the figures to be released when available so i can check them. I've no way of knowing till now. I use the CSV option and it displays the same data as the Sales & Payments part. There is nothing i can do but wait it seems.

You are not alone. It seems a lot of folks are missing a lot of sales.
And welcome to the forums!

I wonder why I am not getting any such problems. Sales and money running in as normal.

Hi and thanx so much, yes i read a few posts here and on FB and over months/years many other authors have been hit with the same thing. Not good but what can we do but wait, open tickets, post here etc? I guess the figures will be out in future. I'm leaving Lulu for the following reasons: 1- i will not pay 5 bucks for ebooks for Global Distribution. 2 - I do not want the added hassle of editing a pdf format manuscript after first editing it in MS word format. Ok i get to learn how to work with/edit pdf format files but that's my main thing to learn/do now. On the to do list along with pilot's licence and learning to ride motorcycle and learning to tattoo. It's wait till forever is here. 3 - Other sites like Kindle are quite easy to use for now. I've done a few books there to now tho was on Lulu since 08. Back to waiting for book title list/revenue, it'll take care of itself. Pass me 10 beers lol. Wait wait wait...

I'm leaving Lulu for the following reasons: 1- i will not pay 5 bucks for ebooks for Global Distribution. You are not alone.... but you found the right place. This forum was the Lulu Forum, hosted by Lulu. Then it was the independent Lulu Forum, hostet by some Lulu authors, after Lulu wanted to close it. The intention was to stay the Lulu Forum, but after all that happened in spring, summer, autumn last year, it became the Self Publishing Hub. Lulu is still a topic, but we discuss also other print on demand services. There is not "the" alternative to Lulu. Following your needs, you may be happy with some of the following (resumed of some discussions here on the forum): printed books directly with IngramSpark (with a coupon several month/year free instead of 47$ - maybe the free ISBN is not available with the coupon) (there is also an package print/e-pub) --- there are some learnings in the beginning; e-books maybe a little bit tricky e-books with Kindle for Amazon only e-books with another provider for everything, but not Amazon (see below): some forum users are very happy with draft2digital.com (including print - that is new) --- good and fast support check streetlib.com for e-books and audio-books, they distribute with a hudge number of shops outside the US, including Europe, Asia, South America, Africa.
I hope that helps a little.

I have thirty-two books published with Lulu and since the so-called upgrade, my sales have diminished rapidly. I check Amazon Central for sales now and again and they don't seem to tally with my sales report. I would guess my sales have dropped 90%. I did contact Lulu about this a few months ago, and surprise, my next sales report was like it used to be. On Goodreads, I have hundreds of recent ratings for some of my books, so where are they selling? I have another novel almost ready to publish, but considering using someone else. I've lost all confidence in Lulu, a company I used to praise.
