"I've actually personally put in a suggestion to have at least a full cover image option added to our cover templates if not changing the template with the bar across the bottom.

Using the Canva plugin added recently to our site may be an option to consider as well. It will have a slight learning curve, but it will ultimately give you a lot more freedom in how your final covers look without having to buy design software."
