My books are already gone from Barnes and Noble. A few paperbacks versions are missing on Amazon Don't forget to report in the promotions section when your books are available again!
It will also be interesting to learn, which service provider you have chosen for the re-publication and why.

Not sure when that will happen. I do have an account though with Streetlib. I'll have to wait and see. I'm actually tired of books at the moment. But we'll see.

That is understandable.
Conversely, with a good service provider, it should be possible to republish existing PDF and EPUB with very little effort. Then this should actually be a no-brainer.
If your name is known, maybe not tons of books will be sold this way, but again and again. In addition to the news and bestsellers, "normal publishers" usually also have a backlist, which is usually no longer explicitly advertised, but is still delivered for years.
If they are timeless books and no lulu-like update, it would even be conceivable that in 200 years the royalties would be paid out to your great-great-grandchildren.

Yes, it is an income for now, for your retirement, and an inheritance for your children. And, it's a memorial. A great investment from every direction.

Oh did you finally get to read it Maggie? I'm quite proud of the cover. I spent probably 15 hours or more on that.

I, however, still find it difficult to reconcile the two. That is why I only glanced at certain parts. I would write another book going deeper into how Christianity and Taoism and Chi can be compatible, for Ours is a jealous God. I'm sure many people would buy it. And also you can explain how exactly sex interferes with spiritually, even among married couples. Explain it intricately. Cover is superb, writing is great. Small quotation errors. That is all.

Should you wish you can also explain the reasoning and/or inspiration for your masters becoming Christian. You could even call it "Why They Became Christian: The Chi Masters" I actually see it selling millions, if it is perfectly edited and produced. Super keywords there. Now you just have to deliver.

Reconciling Taoism and Christianity is difficult for some. But if you do the research you can find that the earliest Chinese actually worshiped a god name Huang Di. The name means "God most high." There were no other gods to them. They worshiped by sacrificing an unblemished lamb. There were no paintings or statues of him. Once a year the emperor would go to the largest city and sacrifice a lamb for forgiveness of sins for the people. Sound familiar? The earliest form of kanji characters found in China were carved into a whale bone. When translated the words spoke of a Spirit that created heaven and earth. Two people in a garden. A devil tempting the woman. A great tower where people tried to reached heaven. A man who was marked for killing his own brother. A great flood that covered the earth. One of most significant things written on the bone was the word "righteous." It was made up of two characters. The words lamb over the word me. The symbol for blood is hidden within the character. This was around two thousand years before Taoism and Buddhism came into being. During the Qin dynasty I think it was, the new emperor banned the sacrifice of animals. Soon the latter two faiths began to fade out the former. Taoism in it's earlier form was simply observing nature. A science. It evolved over time into medicine which included herbal therapy and body movements called qigong. Qigong involves breathing combined with movement. The Chinese then believed no breath no life. The Bible plainly says God breathed the "breath of life" into Adam. Only when the breath was entered did the body come alive. If you study the Jewish scripture they speak of an energy called Ruach. Ruach translated means, breath, wind, or spirit. The exact same meaning as the word chi. They believe as I also do that chi is God's breath. Everything depends on it. Why do breathing exercises? In the beginning God's breath upon the earth would have been pure and strong. But over time our oxygen supply is thinner and contaminated. Think of those things oxygen tanks where people enclose themselves inside and breath in pure air for hours and actually cure some diseases. The early Chinese had no such devices. Breathing exercises take the place of these. Make sense? The later stages of Taoist, which is what most people see as Taoism, did become religion. But in it's earlier stages it was not. That is the Taoism that myself and most of my teachers study. Simply the workings of nature and it's affect on humans and our interaction with it. We don't get involved with the religious Taoism. There is more than one form of it. As far as sex is concerned, I won't get into to that. There are differences in opinion between Protestants and Catholics, and also the Chinese arts. I could go very deeply into the Chinese use of it in martial arts and longevity. But I will not discuss that here for sake of argument and starting fights All of this is simply my opinion and not trying to force anyone to believe as I do. I would suggest watching this video to see the Chinese connection to Christianity, youtu.be/eNT82P6JpSM and part 2 youtu.be/1kkxUyMAMXQ . For a better understanding of the Taoist view on sex I'd recommend Taoist Secrets of Love by Mantak Chia. Again just offering and suggestions for those who want to study and further knowledge. Please don't argue lol

JesusNinja's book, Reflections of a Christian Kungfu Master does just that, Maggie. I thoroughly enjoyed it! Yes, I read that book and this most recent one, and enjoyed them both. I feel, though, that there is a book three, delving deeper into the subject. Something along the lines of what Jesus Ninja just posted.

I had a book out called The Taoist Christian. It said much of what I wrote above. The paperback is gone from Amazon and soon the ebook I hope. I still have covers and interiors of my books in case I decide to publish elsewhere. But for now I'm fed up with Lulu.com. Maggie your advice is always welcome. You're always an inspiration
