I was just thinking that Saturday, after the storm, I would head out to Chapters and see if they have the Fortean Magazine. That's our huge bookstore chain.
What is the name of your local bookstore, and is your book/s in international bookstores? I could look it up while at mine.

My work [what's been released] is available internationally. Cheaper through Lulu Press or from my cheesy little website.
Just for grins:
"Regeneration: Gina's Journey"
"Regeneration: Capturing Shadows"
"Mono-Earth: The War of the Egg"
The last one is the best [so far], for whatever that's worth.

My local bookshop is Mrs Pfister, near the boatyard and in front of the chemist's. She has not only books, but also stationery. Before, it was runned by her mother in law and before by two aunts of her father in law. There are only a couple of books, but a very nice selection. As she is connected to the swiss book centre,* I can order a book and usually the next day it is in the shop. From a book I wrote on my own recently, she put some next to the cash desk, as the content is related to the village.
* The Swiss Book Centre is a cooperative of the book shops and publishers. It has 660 publishing houses in its distribution network. It also has 2200 German-language and 250 foreign-language publishers in its bar assortment. 8 million books are in stock and are delivered overnight. That is faster then online. A total of 11 million titles are available. Every day 25-30 tons of books are delivered.

So that's huge, Benziger. Which means it is an internationally almost untapped industry. I've sold books to the German market, but nowhere near what is possible. 250 foreign language publishers-more than in Quebec, for sure.
Extremely interesting information. Thank you.
