They really are professional in every way. Low sales, but super professional.
Does anyone know offhand if they offer free ISBNs to non US citizens, for hardcover, paperback and ebook.

Reading through the Amazon KDP Help Topic it doesn't state whether or not they give free ISBNs to non-US residents / citizens.

ISBN for hardcovers
An ISBN is required to publish your hardcover. All ISBNs assigned after 2007 are 13 digits. You can choose to use a free ISBN from KDP or to provide your own. The free ISBN from KDP can only be used on KDP for distribution to Amazon and its distributors. It cannot be used with another publisher or self-publishing service. If you use your own ISBN to publish your hardcover, you can use that ISBN to publish your book elsewhere.

I spoke with her and she sent me the information. I then waited three months for a native-speaking family member to find time in his budy schedule to come over to help me with the process. We were both stumped. Wildly confusing. It was like a maze and sent us off to fetch all kinds of new numbers, which I finally got. I cannot, however, bother people again to come over to help me make heads or tails of it. It just has to wait till my Greek is better. |
