I'm installing new software on a new laptop I gave up on ten months ago.
Two takeaways, or three:
Disable Windows defender
Put Avast on Sleep mode
Delete Unstll file in the Windows folder of your computer. The name is something along those lines. It's almost like a trick. You're trying to install and you must delete the uninstall.
Windows 10 is a spy and wants to control your every decision. You need to take your power back. Enjoy
