I don't know how to make a text curl like this. Does anybody? Depending on what software you use to layout your book, or design your cover, there usually is some sort of option to create this sort of effect. For example in MS Publisher, when using Wordart, there is the option to create something similar using text direction or layout. |

It's not easy. Often a raytacing art app needs to be used.

You can do it with Corel WordPerfect 6 in a few steps, back in the day.
You can do it with MS Word WordArt too, with many more steps.
Or, you can do it with a pen and paper, then scan it. That's probably faster.

I don't know how to make a text curl like this. Does anybody? Yes Would love a video on how they did it. I could probably pull it off with a million hacks in Photoshop but I don't know if it would look like that. |

Spiral text is quite easy, many apps have a tool for it, it's not as easy to give that 3d coil type of effect, but it can be done in parts, layer over layer, then Merge. This is a spring with text on it being created www.youtube.com/watch?v=L1JjkE_Vizo&t=8s it looks too complex to bother with! |
