Indeed. Welcome back here. On the subject. I tried Smashwords when it was newish. I recall uploading a compilation of short stories to them. I think at the time they would only accept .txt, which they then converted to other readable formats. I think one was as ePub. I think they also did it by hand, for free, so I cannot imagine the conversions being other than very basic. There's no option to see the results. I think they also promised distribution, but I never saw the results anywhere. The bottom line >> I forgot they existed, then Lulu popped up, so to me it does not matter who owns them now. |

I self published with Draft2Digital so they sent me an email telling me of the Smashwords acquisition. This is part of the email
