So, by writing here with you guys I did get a brilliant marketing idea.
Be you, without self-control, without thinking you have to conform.
Say, for example BandG would want to market his books. How would he/should he do it? Write customized poetry for each person you market to. Impress them, everyone.
Bottom line, be you. After all, all we got is words.😉
Hit a very busy social website and like and respond with what you do best.
And so on. You get the idea.

What? for every individual?! But using ISBNs we don't even know who they may be. But I can see it could lead to misunderstandings and perhaps even offence. Anyway, my words are in my books, and the descriptions of them on sites. I am not selling me but my stories.

And therein lies a problem. Many of us shudder at the thought of visiting a "social site" or otherwise selling our souls to the mobs.

Handle Blue333 website:Your real website or an Amazon link Location:Instagram You can Like things and leave comments without a trail. They do not appear on your feed. They are independent of each other. And you do not have to be a follower or be followed in order to comment. Different from FB. Nothing to lose. Amuse yourself.

And therein lies a problem. Many of us shudder at the thought of visiting a "social site" or otherwise selling our souls to the mobs. I tested it today. Add value to someone else's image or comment or page. Rather than going around like a begger asking some stranger to follow you. Forget that. Give them something for free. If they want they'll follow. Real value. It's the gift of giving. Right up your alley BandG.

Uh huh. So, what's an "Instagram?" Is that something like a "FaceBook"?

Join with a handle and play around with it. Less intrusive than FB. Owned by FB. Opt for a personal not business account. I have both, but the personal is more indirect.

B&G,
My eight-year-old daughter has a microcomputer for studying [and often enough wasting time]. When I told her the size of computers common when I was born [the computer was 900kg, ~1984 lbs, with a 1350kg, ~2976lbs power supply], she didn't believe me.
The videos you posted are a good reminder that the temporal and technical context people grow up in shapes how they deal with reality.
Time for me and the spouse to go let the little demon-warriors run off some energy.

One must adapt to survive. I know the millenials are interesting. So are baby boomers. Okay, see you at Inst😉

The first video is cute. The second one annoyed me because it's so true. They learn quickly enough in the real word. No trophies.

It was we boomers who invented the internet. Cameron: In the 1980's I worked on an IBM 360/70 for awhile. It (and its peripherals) took up most of a room.
