In SF and Horror, where some sort of disturbing experimentation is taking place on humans (and even animals) financed by some supervillain, the head doctor was usually ex-Nazi. Not easy to write in to a contemporary story because not many Nazi doctors are still alive now, unless it's a story about immortality or whatever. Hitler was of course obsessed about a Master Race. But it can be disturbing to us aged types when someone says "Lest we forget what?" some even deny the Holocaust ever happened. I have a book based on the memoir of one Nazi who served the Master. It talks about immortality. Secrets of Lower Silesia and what happened underground. Soon it will be available on lulu "Devils Nest"
