Has anyone else experienced the following:
A few weeks ago, under Projects, all my books had been placed in revision mode. The message at the top of the My Projects screen said:
"The print cost for some of your Projects will update on March 15, 2022. To ensure you continue to earn revenue from your Projects for sale, we may update your list price unless you manually adjust your price on or before March 15, 2022.
"Run Check".
When I clicked on "Run Check", it showed every one of our local-history books needed a large price increase. Yet, when I logged into our account this morning and clicked "Run Check" again, the message this time was:
"No results found
"There are no projects in need of a price update."
Does this mean that Lulu has reversed its price increases?

Yes, the price increase was implemented starting March 15, 2022. We were warned of it long before. I modified some of my prices, but not all. If you endorsed the various price increases, your projects needn't your intervention anymore. If you didn't, then check whether the previous prices have been retained.

The previous prices have been retained, yet Lulu now says I don't need to update them, despite the fact they are now too low. Or has Lulu suddenly become a charity?
Never-ending Lulu software bugs. It is hard to know what to do. And Lulu persists in showing (as of quite recently) our default prices in USD whereas we are in the UK and have always used GBP.

My print books have gone up in price but fortunately my ebooks that I made free are still free. I too live in the UK and my books are all marked in dollars not pounds.

I too clicked the blue "Run Check" but none of my prices changed. It just created a pending revision for all of them. I suppose it wants me to manually change the prices. I'll wait until I make REAL revisions on each project in the future. (It is appalling how many typographical and slight editorial changes one finds need to be made when one reads their own work. It's a crazy-maker!)

Never a fun thing to do.

As regards the currency in which you want to fix your prices, you should choose it where indicated by my red arrow.

If I recall correctly, Lulu's site has an option at the top right to allow the selection of language and currency displayed.

When I followed Potet's suggestion above (i.e. changed USD to GPB), and then republished, the revision was accepted bu the price still shows as USD.
At least this time, Lulu didn't ask me to purchase another Proof Copy.
I have raised a Lulu support ticket.

Strange that Lulu increases prices, and yet still offers discounts at the same time.

Lulu support has come back to me. The problems are technical bugs at their end which they are actively working on. This includes the price checker mistakenly reporting that "There are no projects in need of a price update". The currency display (prices showing up in USD, not GBP) is also a bug but I am told, nevertheless, that customers will be charged in their chosen currencies.
It's a bit of a nuisance that when revising ones prices, one now has to adjust each of the five currencies manually. I got the impression that it's the way its designed.
The support person assured me the system won't ask me to order proof copies after revising the prices. So, that bug at least has already been fixed.

Hi, After a long period of inactivity and not checking my Lulu account, I was horrified when I found that all my books were put in revision mode and distribution pending. I was scared at the idea of messing something up. I tried updating one book and I had to go through all steps before getting to the price page. I think I will have to remind myself to check Lulu site every month. Hope everyone is ok and thanks again for your reassuring presence and help.
