Me too, but that's not what I meant. I mean, it's very very quite. Almost spooky.

In France, on the the 1st of November, we visit the family tombs. Hallowe'en was introduced as a commercial ploy over a decade ago by foreign parasites. The manoeuver is one in a calendar the purpose of which is to defile and desecrate everything that is French.

Very sorry about that, Potet. On this side of the pond we have many pointless commercial "holidays": Valentine's Day (To sell flowers and jewelry and candy and restaurants). Mothers' Day (To sell flowers and jewelry and candy and restaurants). Fathers' Day (To sell tools and sporting goods and barbecue grills). ad infinitum. ad nauseum...

It's not exactly something that's been introduced, it's ancient. www.worldhistory.org/article/1456/history-of-halloween/ en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Halloween What messed it up as a Pagen festival was Americans deciding it was dress up day, and the commercial enterprise to supply them with the clothing. I have no idea what the Hulk and Spiderman have to do with it, or begging at doors for treats. Or witches for that matter.

And they're trying to make Christmas pointless too.
