I have published my book both in ebook and paperback formats. The ebook has the Lulu symbol for global distribution right after I approved it. How long does it take for it appear on Amazon? I approved the paperback for global distribution at the same time and that book has the Lulu symbol that looks like a book with an eye in front of it. What does that symbol mean? The paperback appeared on Amazon in about three days; not the ebook. Any thoughts? Thans.

It can take up to 7 weeks.

I am sure I recall an option box asking where you wanted ebooks to be distributed to, and for what price. I cannot recall if they are all ticked by default. That was a while ago though!

I never selected send to Amazon KDP because the conversion to a kindle file messes them up. I publish ebooks direct to KDP.
