Does anyone know if Lulu Global Distribution includes vendors that distribute to public libraries, like Overdrive, for example?
Thanks.

Lulu Global Distribution does not include physical copies. Sites can list the books for sale due to the registered ISBNs. If one is then ordered it's created via Lulu's printers using Print On demand. Libraries can of course use the ISBNs to order a POD book if they want to. Such as if someone wants to borrow that book, if they can find it on their data base, usually aided by the ISBN if they cannot find the title or writer's name.

BTW. This is the E-book section. Did you mean e-books? If so then they don't exist in a physical form at all to be distributed, they are just listed.

OK. I'll rephrase my question. Does Lulu global distribution list ebooks with Overdrive and other distributors that work with libraries?

OK. I'll rephrase my question. Does Lulu global distribution list ebooks with Overdrive and other distributors that work with libraries? They didn't used to and I doubt they do now. To be sure, I did some research and Overdrive was nowhere to be found. If they did they would say so explicitly and it wouldn't be so hard to find. Streetlib does. IngramSparks does.

Does anyone know if Lulu Global Distribution includes vendors that distribute to public libraries, like Overdrive, for example? Thanks. They do, however, boast 40 000 retailers. Which I believe is true. Oddly, they have the best distribution.

Thank you. Draft2digital.com does list with library retailer, such as overdrive. So, I now published the same ebook with them and listed the book only with library retailers, leaving all other retailers with lulu.com

help.lulu.com/en/support/solutions/articles/64000255454-ebook-distribution-channel-informationApart from that, one hopes that the applied ISBN allows any outlet to find the book and list it for sale. I believe the ISBNs Lulu use are in Ingram's database, which is commonly used by concerns who are looking for books, E or otherwise. But buyers do have to look. They don't look for books they have never heard of. 1000s of books are published daily, they cannot view them all as potentials. Using multiple distributers can confuse matters, because they often all distribute to the same places. For example. Lulu offer the option of being listed at Amazon. I deselect that option because I publish e-books via KDP. If I did not deselect that option at Lulu then the e-books would be listed twice at Amazon! The reason I do that is that when Lulu port an ePub to KDP, KDP convert it to 'kindle' and mess up the formatting.
