Hi Anyone tried or is using Lulu Direct on their website?
Tempted but not very clear about Lulu Direct and how it really works. It seems that it works like you are the fulfilment centre and Lulu does the printing and distribution. help.luludirect.lulu.com/en/support/solutions/64000160378Thanks

I tried it several years ago for the biography of my paternal grand-parents in two volumes. It's a private book that is not publicly distributed in any manner. I offered members of my family to buy copies by e-mailing them the link to the direct facility. Some relatives were able to place their orders, and received them. Others never managed to, and I had to order the two volumes for them.

The only problem I experienced was the inability of some relatives to use this simple system.

The pitfalls are - only people you give the link to, or can see it on some website you have placed the link on, can see and order the book from your Lulu storefront. I don't know what other pitfalls there are, apart from it not being available to everyone.
