Hi there
I have a print book created on Lulu that's been approved for distribution. I have since discovered an historical inaccuracy in it that I want to change, so I decided to temporarily retire the book on the My Projects page until I'd done my research for correcting the inaccuracy.
However, the book has appeared on Amazon as available. So my question is when I restore and revise my project, republish and get distribution approval again, will this new revision automatically replace the version currently available on Amazon, or will some of the old versions still hang around as available? I can't seem to find the definitive answer on Lulu's Knowledge Base.
Thanks

Yes, the new version will automatically become the version available on Amazon. I'm not sure how long it takes, but it seems to be no longer than the original version took. My gut feeling is that it is much less. By the way, there is no need to retire your original work. Simply make the revision and go through the proof copy process and then approve. Easy!

Thank you so much, I thought this must be the case, but it does help to confirm! I appreciate that people here are helpful even when it may seem like a dumb question is asked.

Happy to help! (And, it's not a dumb question. There are many things hidden behind the veil until we encounter them.)

Often the only dumb thing is not asking when not sure.
