There's a short list of what KDP consider to be problems within a publication. The Dashboard says what, if anything, with the option to fix them. Some are considered to be so serious, in their opinion, they will remove the publication. Two of the rules are a bit strange though. Too few pages. But they don't say in the policy how many is too few. Considered not to be entertaining (!) the last rule is amazing. Considered by who? And if a buyer says it is, do they get a refund?

KDP is Amazon's POD self-publishing facility.

KDP is Amazon's POD self-publishing facility. Indeed it is. Kindle Direct Publishing. Once partially CreateSpace. I suppose it's called Kindle because at one time you could only create Kindle E-books there.

I consider that the move from Createspace to KDP a bad move. There were far more options with Createspace than with KDP now. Options as in inclusion of more languages, functionalities etc.

Basically, they can refuse to publish whatever they do not deem worthy of their time.

As most publishing companies do, but - "Considered not to be entertaining." Considered by who? That's a matter of opinion. All the books have a description, most have a Preview. If a buyer goes on to buy it, and then does not like it because they were not "entertained", well, tough! Take it back to a bookshop because of that, and they would laugh at you. KDP is a Self-Publishing site is it not? They should not be using the same policies as a major publishing house, the latter who takes all the financial risk, so you can expect them to be fussy. I mean, let's face it, Amazon is not short of rubbish of all types on it.
