We have Sprummerall instead of Spring, Summer and Fall. Sprummerall lasts eight to nine months. I found Spummerall on the internet, interesting!! www.theawl.com/2016/04/spummerall-is-here/ I thought you'd made up the word Sphinx-Cameron.

While not in common-usage people who've lived in this part of Texas for a few years recognize Sprummerall even when they've never head the term before.
My oldest brother lives about 466 miles north of here, and in his own words he stays where it snows because he likes having definite seasons.

I worked for a Summer in Yellowstone between graduating from high school and entering college. I remember being told that the seasons in Yellowstone worked like this: Spring came in June, Summer in July, Fall in August and then Winter.
