Good afternoon everybody. I have been using Lulu since 2009, and just recently published my new book "Downfallen" through their NEW website. It was a little trying, since I had my rough draft done BEFORE the changeover, then had to relearn the whole thing to put out the final copy. Anyway, I was able to get through it all and get my proof copy and finalize everything. I've been advertising it and on my Lulu author dashboard I can only see one order from a person, and my own orders. I know others have ordered my book, but why does it not show up? The order that shows up is from June 1st, and my orders are scattered between May 20-June 7, so where are my other orders? I've learned a long time ago not to bother trying to contact customer service. When are updates done? I'm not so concerned with an accurate royalty statement, I just want to see that other peoples' orders are coming through!

I'm not showing revenue data still. My books are disappearing off websites and I don't know why. Book sales though can take up to eight weeks to show. They each report on their schedule then send to Lulu.

Right - but these are people ordering directly from lulu.com. It still takes that long?

It's been my experience that Lulu reports distributor sales (like Amazon, etc.) as occurring on the 31st of the month they receive the notice. But then again, I haven't had a lot of experience with that. Though I received payment for Q1 2020 sales, I still have sales from last year I haven't been paid for.
At this point though, since their downgrade in functionality, only Lulu sales during June are showing in my sales report, and historical sales (either at Lulu or elsewhere) are not to be seen.

I think Lulu sales and some Apple sales show within one day. Or used to anyway.

Right - but these are people ordering directly from lulu.com. It still takes that long? I don't think shipping has been affected. I ordered a book after the downgrade and it shipped within a few days.

That's what I was thinking. I have several people saying they ordered a book (right from Lulu.com) and no sales show up on my view when I look at sales and payments. These are sales between June 2 and today. I sent a couple out to reviewers, and ordered a couple for myself, and they showed up immediately. Unless everyone is lying to me about buying my book . ..
