On the old Lulu there was the 'delete' option. How do I delete a project in the new Lulu website? I made a brand new edition of an old project (not a revision) and now both it and the old one still show up. How do I get rid of old projects for good?!?

You can't. They screwed up the site. No retire or delete option. You have to contact support and ask them to remove it. It will take awhile to happen though. They said they are going to add it back later.

No way I'm asking customer support to start messing with my projects and deleting stuff. I just went in and did a halfway revision and backed out and now it shows up as 'draft' but if I go in as a customer it says I can still buy them so who knows.

I was trying to get my cover right and wasn't allowed to try different things like no global distribution, just a print version etc. so each time as I wasn't allowed to delete the project, I made a new copy of the same book. Now I have 5 copies of the same project sitting in my projects section. Yesterday I was told that I had no projects, but they are all back today including some I had retired------hey ho!

At this time you have to request deletions or retirement from Lulu Press Support.

I did contact Lulu about the problem but havent heard back for several days. I suppose I could continue to try again and again, by starting a new project each time, until I have 20 projects sitting there unpublished and undeleted just cluttering up my site. I wonder if Lulu might catch on then and restore the delete/retire options very quickly.
