I agree about the denouncements. Have you heard some of lyrics in Rap music? M'fer this G'D that. Not to mention how they portray women, nothing but sex objects. Now I'm seeing on TV commercials and prime time TV men kissing. If that's your thing fine, but I don't won't to see it on the cable I paid for. And all the shows on TV portraying magic, witchcraft, demons, etc. Making it seem very normal. I can tell you from experience these things are not to be messed with but they are teaching our children that it's fine to dabble in. But again no warning before the show. Seems unfair many things are being removed because they are "offensive" to some but I'm offended by the above but could I have these things removed? Probably not. It's basically only one group that gets their way. They remove crosses, keep people from saying Merry Christmas in stores, ban reading the Bible in schools, but other religious books are ok. The list goes on. The rest of us suffer losing things that are a part of us while others get their way.
Men kissing men, kind of depends on the context. If it's on TV and you don't like it, the simple solution is change the channel. But a man leaning over to kiss his son goodbye, the son lying in the casket, hopefully that's acceptable. I didn't lean over to kiss my father goodbye while he was in a casket, I gave him a quick salute.
On shows you want banned because they offend you, try writing the producers and complaining. If more people enjoy the programming than not and the shows remain, change the channel or watch a DVD.
On Merry Christmas not being allowed in stores, I hear it often enough though it's nice to also hear about Solstice and Hanukkah during the season.
Now if it's a public school utilizing public funds in the U.S., if other religious texts are read in a class the bible would be allowed as well. Private schools that aren't publicly funded can do what they want and usually do. It has to do with separation of church and state.
As for magic, witchcraft, and demons being portrayed in shows until they seem normal, since some people are virulently anti-science it shouldn't be surprising that magic, witchcraft, and demons are making a comeback in popular culture. It makes sense since belief in those subjects waned as belief in science grew, so the corollary of belief in those subjects waxing as belief in science wanes shouldn't be surprising.

I turned down a naked cooking show gig once as no apron was included -- the pilot was titled "Frying Bacon Naked". Sometimes whether male or female you need an apron. www.youtube.com/watch?v=eSxv6IGBgFQThat's funny. 😂 If someone asks you to help cut up the carcass of a deer with a chainsaw, wear an apron. It gets messy.

The list goes on. The rest of us suffer losing things that are a part of us while others get their way. Unfortunately there are always people who very intolerantly demand tolerance towards them. With Hans Küng's global ethic and the Golden Rule, there are simply rules that make it possible to regulate things without anyone feeling outcast, even if one of them wants nothing to do with religion. I just walked with a lady at the dog run who normally people would outcast and be intolerant towards and she gave me tips on how to heal my shoulder. She's a physiotherapist. For me that was God reminding me, everyone is beautiful. That's the message I got in addition to free advice. ❤

Gross😬😁 Living in the country you get used to doing what city-folk consider "gross", but it's part of life. That package of beef or pork or chicken at the store didn't start out neatly packaged, someone had to do the gross stuff in order to package it.
Incidentally I have a neighbor who will no longer ask me to feed and water his chickens [or his pet goats] when he and his wife go out of town. The reason being I detest taking care of chickens after having done so growing up, and I also like goat meat while knowing how to dress the carcasses.
I also need to get another apron, though I'll pass on the cocktail dress and heels Mrs Cleaver wore -- not the right look.
