Lulu used to have a preview available for potential buyers. It appears to no longer be there. Or is it elsewhere and I missing it? Any information appreciated.

They all disappeared with the old system. It would be nice to get them back. It would be even nicer to get them back customized the way they were.

Otherwise, authors will set up their own methods of Preview such as an Issuu.com Flip Book (which I have created and used on numerous occasions for my website and once again must resort to today given that there is no Lulu Preview function--how unfortunate). This will distract Lulu customers and generate more users for Issuu.com. That is not a good thing for Lulu.

Paul will probably tell us that the Lulu people are working on an even better preview that will be implemented soon. Evil tongues, on the other hand, point to promises made by Lulu five years ago and still outstanding today.
(Unfortunately there is no more possibility to "overview", "like" or to "comment" good ideas - this would be another "new" idea to submit.)

Book preview should be a given. Lulu should have known better.

Book preview should be a given. Lulu should have known better. Yes!!
But that is the least of their worries right now. Maybe next week previews will be functioning

Benziger, yours is the first post that made me laugh today. You sound exasperated.

Benziger, yours is the first post that made me laugh today. You sound exasperated. Maggie, I have to admit, I looked up "exasperated" in the dictionary. I was presented with a whole range of translations: from angry, upset, bitter, resentful, annoyed, vexed, etc. I would perhaps describe it as disillusioned. I wrote at the very beginning once that we should wait until the end of the month. I don't do prognoses anymore. I'll take it as it comes. July or August or Christmas. To be fair, I have to say that I do not have a large number of books nor bestsellers on offer.
My interest is that we have a group here that supports each other's suggestions on Lulu (when the feedback page is open again), and that they are implemented. And if that doesn't work, we can tell each other where to find the for him most important function.

Exasperated is a little more humourous than angry or bitter. It's like someone raising their arms up in disillusionment and shock, a bit of apathy too.
Anyway, I found a great new resource for us. Will post in a separate thread.
