Is anyone else suddenly getting a ridiculous, random "List Price" shown (under the "Print Cost" line) against every project on their Project Overview page?? And it's the same amount for all projects shown on one page, but changes with each further set of pages (-->) !!!
Oh boy, this just goes on and on.

Thank you for the heads up, Dismayed. Yes, as of this morning (or yesterday, perhaps) on my projects overview page, list prices for all my projects now display as the list price of the project at the top of the page - in some cases lower than the print costs! However, if I click on the title of each project then click on the pricing tab, I see that the actual prices are still correct. It appears to be a display problem with the overview page. More evidence that they change things on Fridays. I hope this change actually fixed something else that is broken. Sighhh...

Another Lulu oddity, I can`t keep up. Doesn`t really matter though as it seems they still haven`t sorted out the distribution with amazon. And the sales record on my account states they paid me via paypal for the last couple months, the monies haven`t appeared in my pp account. I sent a support ticket over a month ago and still no reply. I`ve given up now, it would be simpler for me to turn all my projects to "private" and just use lulu as a printer, then try and distribute the books myself.

Thanks BlueAndGold.
You have to be really clever to program something like that.

@dismayed and @charley_Farley: Open a ticket, just with the text you wrote here. Within seconds, you will get a replay: One page bla bla and at the end: The ticket is closed. Just answer and ask to re-open. Then someone will have a look. Always after ten days, ask how they are going....
I know, that is not the way we like, but the only way that works at the moment and brings us (authors and Lulu) further.
Some users here at the forum tried it this way and it worked. They published later the answer and the solution.

After tinkering (thank goodness I have nothing better to do!) and tinkering, today I managed to satisfy the new system with book block PDF (tho no matter what I do, apparently there is a transparency somewhere - if only I knew where ... sigh) and cover PDF (don't ask), and with selecting cheaper paper, the printing cost for the 6x9 798 page full colour hardcover has come down from AUD$148 (or thereabouts) to AUD$52.90, and it keeps to that even in the shopping basket and checkout. Having said that - the other book with colour pages, tho thinner and paperback, won't change its shopping cart price just with changing from the premium to the standard paper ... more tinkering?

Just made a ticket for print cost / order price discrepancy of the paperback (AUD23.35 vs AUD76.00) former now the cheaper paper, latter still the price for the premium paper. System still stuck somewhere ...

...but I can see what you mean by 'list price' ... the 6x9 has a list price of AUD24.08 with a printing cost of AUD53.29 ... I'm only interested in printing for myself so that's no problem for me, but for others ...

As of this morning, Lulu acknowledges in a popup on the Projects page that they are aware of the "List Price" problem and gives assurance that all retail prices in the Bookstore are displaying properly.

benziger I used the contact Lulu page you suggested. I found the bast way is "live contact." Lulu is based in North Carolina so I had to get the time right. (Monday - Friday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM Eastern Time) I chatted with Chris and he was extremely helpful.

It's surprising that with a company that purports to be international only works US office hours.

Got this today. All prices are the same for all my books. I thought we were done with these surprises but apparently not! One has to log in everyday to check and for daily crisis management. Attachments:
