I recently made two new books at Lulu. When I downloaded the "print-ready files" and unzipped them, I found that in both cases the filenames of the interior and the cover had been switched!
The smaller cover file has the word "interior" within its new Lulu filename, and the larger interior file has the word "cover" within its new Lulu filename. IN BOTH BOOKS!
How DO they manage to achieve this sort of error??? Has anyone else seen it?
I only hope their Printers can sort it out. Otherwise I see production failures looming round the corner .....

I have no idea, but it has been heard of that a book can actually end up printed with not even the right contents in it! I don't know how it stands with the new Lulu system (that you even say you had to unzip the files is a puzzle, that normally only applied to the downloadable templates) but before the changes there would be two Print Ready PDF files created by the Project Wizards. The entire cover, and the entire contents, with a single project code to tie them together. (It was those that could be downloaded to take a look at, they were not zipped in any way).
I would accost Lulu Help with it and see if they can explain it.

Yes. The new, current file download is a zip with both PDF's inside. I will have to check mine now. Thank you for the heads up, Dismayed!
