Hello,
I receive an order for a book on my website, I go to my Lulu account and order/pay for a copy, I enter the customer's shipping address instead of my own.
I cannot find a statement or policy against doing this from Lulu, but is it something that would set off alarms in large-ish amounts, and thus something they would put a stop to or ban a party from doing?
Using WooCommerce so can't do Lulu xpress/Shopify without hiring an API developer, and "large-ish" in this case would be 50-100 orders in a week for a debut.
I believe the above is generally referred to as "manual dropshipping," and I understand why a POD book company, especially one that has its own store and makes money through distribution, would not be very happy with people doing this, but I can't find any information about whether or not it is disallowed as a practice by Lulu specifically or something others have done successfully/unsuccessfully.
Any clarification or feedback on this topic?
Thanks for your time.

It's not disallowed, though if you're talking about bulk quantities to a single address per order you can contact Lulu Press Inc to see about getting a bulk discount.

And Lulu still make money, no matter what address is used to deliver to. An order is an order. Really all that matters is a genuine method of payment.

Definitely allowed. Distributors usually contact me to place bulk orders (way cheaper than Amazon but alas no discount method on Lulu any longer), I enter the address of the distributor/customer and pay. It is actually the most profitable way of selling your books. I used Lulu Support to help me fix an address issue for one of my customers. They ordered hundreds of books. So, as And Kevin 2024 said, if the payment is solid, there's no issue.
