"De-blocked the process" What does that mean? Did they block it on purpose or was it a failure of the software system? Block Vs deblock Possibly I didn't use the right terms. Sorry. At one stage of the book-making process, for the latest title, after everything was finished I clicked on the button reading "Vérifiez votre livre" (Check up your book). Clicking on this button (arrow) nothing happened because it was dead. I complained with Lulu, and their answer was: "I apologize that your project became stuck and would not allow you to proceed forward. We have reset this in our system, and you should find that the project is now fixed." After that, I could order my copy. As you can see, the correct verb is "stick" [bold's mine].

Yes Benziger said that's why he started the quarantine process. Those pesky Koreans were constantly trying to advertise here. I put the words of one into google and told Admin it was spam. I think others did the same. Some people just have to spoil it for our genuine guests. PS and those members who forget passwords.

Thanks for clarifying, potet - the system simply 'threw a wobbly' - it happens. I now have the PW taped to my laptop, but the edge of the cellotape is sticking up, and annoying my palm - I'll have to place it somewhere I don't have to put my palm ... doh ... I agree larika, members who constantly forget passwords are pesky spoilsports ... ;-)

No tasmanianartist I wasn't saying that members were spoilsports for forgetting their passwords, I was saying those spammers were spoiling it for members who forgot their passwords.

This book of mine is the first volume of a hard-bound with jacket two-volume biography of my paternal grandparents. It is private, reserved for the members of my family, and has no ISBN. Another Lulu clerk e-mailed me this evening (2020-10-01) to inform me Lulu had de-blocked the process. Indeed, a few minutes later, I could order my copy. Lulu must be spending a lot of money on the programmers in charge of adjusting individual cases. I received my copy today (2020-10-17). The recycled cover gave good enough results with negligible differences. I'll do the same for the second volume. I followed the Lulu automaton's advice and opted for the high-grade paper. Indeed the photographs come out well, but like the previous book made abroad, it is very stiff, so very unpleasant to handle. I'll now opt for 60g cream paper because it is the one that gives the best results.
