A small suggestion from a neophyte? Increase the contrast in color between the blue sky and moon in the background and the blue lettering of Masquerade and Lodi. The light blue lettering is hard to make out at a glance. The moon washes out the "r" and the "d" for me. Maybe an orange?

Good observation! That had occurred to me, too, and the sky is a little darker in the version I sent off.

Just completed this cover for a novella for my friend, Lois... View Attachment I have been looking at your book covers Ron and they really reflect the contents of the book extremely well. I think the darker sky will probably look better but that cover really shows what the book is about. Excellent work. I'll check it out.

Ron has an incredible eye for detail. I've asked for his opinion on covers and it's amazing what he sees. But he's right. Maggie too for that matter.

That's true JesusNinja, Ron has helped many people. I find his "Book Cover Design" site very interesting and helpful too. bookcoverbasics.tumblr.com/
