The search facility to find an author or a title is now missing from the Lulu portal. A student wanted to buy one of my books. I directed her to Lulu, and she just couldn't find my book. I tried myself and saw that: Needless to say I am not amused.

Not sure what is going on there. The missing books on Amazon I understand but this not sure.

And here I thought Lulu was finally starting to get it together. Wow! This week seems to be unraveling for them.

Maybe they are still using the same developers and test team as before.

Did you notice the same impossibility to find an author or a title?

Lulu's search feature is retarded to say the least. First you click on search. That takes you to a page full of books unrelated to what you were looking for. You then have to actually search for the little magnifying glass at the top right and then use that. Why three steps to search for a book? Whoever designed the site really needs to step back and look at it. Better still apologize to all of us that have lost income the past few months.

Thanks a lot, JesusNinja, indeed, I clicked on the magnifying glass, and there it was. Why hide this facility under that general icon while it should be the first thing displayed when one clicks on "bookstore"?

So true. It took me forever to find that. I assumed that clicking on a button that said "search" would actually let me do that. Unless it's Lulu's purpose to throw certain books in your face hoping for sales until you can actually find the magnifying glass. I like the old saying "KISS" Keep it simple stupid.
