For historical reasons, one of our local history society's books is only "General Access" (i.e. available from Lulu) but not also "In Distribution" (i.e. also available on Amazon, Barnes & Noble etc.).
I've tried revising the book (although I don't need to change anything else) but cannot see an "In Distribution" tick-box anywhere.

I've answered my own question. Go to My Projects and click "Revise" against the book concerned. Under the "Start" tab in the menu bar, scroll down to "Select a Goal" and check the tick-box marked "Global Distribution". I think I need to get my eyes tested as I missed this before.
I haven't actually tried this yet, but I imagine it will work.

Srram, I was concerned that my latest eBook which I published in Lulu ( I was going to use MyBestSeller but it didn't have enough pages) hadn't appeared in Amazon etc. I made it weeks ago. Anyway I did as you suggested and checked my book. I found I had an ISBN number and I'd checked global distribution. Anyway I contacted Lulu and I got the usual reply telling me to check their articles etc. As usual I replied saying my problem hadn't been resolved and got this response. Delivery has failed to these recipients or groups:
apache@otrs-rhel7.lulu.com Your message couldn't be delivered. The Domain Name System (DNS) reported that the recipient's domain does not exist.
Contact the recipient by some other means (by phone, for example) and ask them to tell their email admin that it appears that their domain isn't properly registered at their domain registrar. Give them the error details shown below. It's likely that the recipient's email admin is the only one who can fix this problem.
For more information and tips to fix this issue see this article: go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=389361. We can't contact Lulu with chat on line, we can't telephone and now when we reply to their email we get the above response. sigh

I have three suggestions.
1. Reply again in case the DNS error was a temporary glitch. 2. Raise the original problem again on a new support ticket. 3. If you are techie enough, examine the email headers to see if something changed. In MS Outlook for example, open the email, then click File then Properties. The method will vary, depending on what email system you use.

If that fails I'll try your 3rd suggestion.

I just got this response from Lulu after I filled in a second form.
Dear Elizabeth, Thank you for your message. Even though this is an automated response, your inquiry is our top priority. One of our agents will email you back. If your inquiry is in reference to a specific project and you have not providing the ID, please reply to this email with the project ID found in My Projects. In the meantime, you can visit some of our helpful online resources. We offer a searchable Knowledge Base of how-tos and FAQs for Global Distribution. Thank you so much for your patience and we'll be in touch shortly. Kind regards.
I sent them the ID number of my book. Let's see if Lulu does get back to me "shortly".

I sent them the ID number of my book. Let's see if Lulu does get back to me "shortly". I got a personalised response after two queries, and my distribution/release problem was fixed a day later. So there are human beings still involved, and they do in time fix things. I even had a few sales reported, so it's limping along. I've not had enough sales to warrant the effort needed to tidy up my content for any more books, though - it was a fun little bit of self-indulgence. I get more enjoyment from writing and getting thousands of non-paying readers on my main "free to air" platform.

Although our genres differ greatly, I'm nevertheless so glad I'm not the only one doing this 'for fun' and a bit of 'self-indulgence'. I wrote my kids books to somehow record my 'childhood adventures' - in themselves only important to me, but wrapped into an adventure worth a small book. Even the 13-year long translation exercise of a 19th century fiction adventure writer was 'for fun' with a completely different goal than 'making a fortune'. When done, I handed the lot over to a deserving publisher who now has fun having them on Amazon (something I loathed doing). Sometimes the 'enjoyment' truly is in the 'creating' - for me, because there is no longer anything 'to do' on the finished product.

Well, Lulu got back to me relatively quickly and it would appear from their email there were problems with my images. I don't understand how that happened as the 2 printed versions of my book were fine. Also I wondered how the eBook can be for sale in my Lulu bookstore if it has broken images. Anyway I'll check it out.
Dear Elizabeth,
Thank you for contacting our support team at Lulu.com. Recently, we have been receiving a high volume of eBook submissions which has resulted in a slight delay. All eBooks submitted for Global Distribution are manually reviewed by Lulu for technical compliance. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.
I checked the status of your eBook and see that it was rejected by our team due to broken images in your EPUB file. Currently a blank image frame with a question mark is displaying instead of the actual images. Once this issue has been addressed let me know and I will work to ensure your title is approved for distribution.
I hope this helps. If you need anything else, do not hesitate to let me know.
Kind regards,
Tracey M. Lulu Press, Inc.

Goodness me, you're prolific! That's an impressive range of content, most impressive:).

Goodness me, you're prolific! That's an impressive range of content, most impressive:). Mercy beaucoup! I had opportunity and the time for it - discipline needed as it was a 24/7 thing ... before I knew it 13 years had passed; and that's not counting the 'early years' before the 13 started. (Some would say 'you get less for murder'... LOL ... but in this case it's 'mission accomplished' - there's a couple or so 'world firsts' in it - quite proud of it). What amazes me is that it fitted exactly into the years during which Lulu was fully functional - I couldn't do it now ....
