Some people are attributing our lack of sales due to Covid, shutdowns, etc. No I still blame Lulu for my lack of sales. I have someone on my Facebook friends who just published a book a few months ago. She just has now sold eight million copies of her kindle. Her ranking is at 7k on Amazon. Meaning that on Amazon out of around 10,000,000 books only 6,999 books out sell her at this moment. So if the economy, pandemic, is the cause of lack of sales it's not hurting her. Her book is not perfect, already having warning to corrections to be needed. But it's also number one in it's category. I have had books that did that too. One of them was selling up to ten copies a day for over one month during DEC two years ago. And that's the reason I'm so upset the books are not on Amazon during this time. It's the best time to sell books. Jan will be the other with Amazon gift cards being used as presents. So just something to think about.

If Lulu still worked as it did until last winter, it would probably still be the first choice for many or even most of us. But with the 8 month long weekend, and before that is fixed, there are always new disasters...
One option is to take your PDF and deposit it with someone else. At IngramSpark you can publish 10 books for free until the end of the year, just like at Lulu. The code is here in the forum. But you can't save the reviews. They are lost. That is more than annoying. But if they will be lost with Lulu as well, it does not matter any more.
Maybe another provider is more suitable than Ingram, especially if you have recently published books on Amazon. tasmanianartist is very happy with mybestseller.co.uk and if you speak German and are happy with ISBN from the provider (not your owns), I would recommend epubli.de.
