I was paying $11 a day to use my data to make my one horrible bank think I was in Canada in order for it to allow me to e-transfer money to my other bank. Long story short, I just used Orbot and did it for free. My bank thought I was in Canada.
I am so happy. Thank you.

An unexpected bonus! Now go spend the money you save on something nice instead This place is expensive. I'm learning to bargain hunt. If you feel like saying, what country are you in?

“ This place is expensive.” The beauty of the European Union. I wonder if Honduras is cheap. The cost of living. How is Spain, by the way, and how did you end up living there?

Long story short, I just used Orbot and did it for free. My bank thought I was in Canada. What a strange bank. I can access my bank via the Internet from all over the world. They don't care where I am as long as I dial in using two-way identification. Within the SEPA region (27 countries of the EU - including Greece, 4 countries of the EFTA, furthermore around the world Åland, Andorra, Canary Islands, Ceuta, French-Guayana, Guadeloupe, Gibraltar, Guernsey, Isle of Man, Jersey, Martinique, Mayotte, Melilla, Réunion, Monaco, Saint-Pierre and Miquelon, San Marino, United Kingdom, Vatican) we use the International Bank Account Number (IBAN). This is very inexpensive, respectively free of charge within the European Union - whether the bank wants it or not.

And the financial adviser never answers the phone. When I called to find out why I couldn't send myself money the lady on the phone first said that interac e-transfer doesn't work overseas. Then, when I tried to explain how this doesn't make sense because internet banking is virtual, international, she hung up. Madness.
