Larika said “but I've near given up on making books. I had to buy a shoulder/back heating/massage pad because my back hurt so much I could hardly walk. Gosh it's hard getting old.”
Well getting old comes to all of us unfortunately.
What do you want to do? Write, create, make and publish? Or just write and have published?
If the latter have you considered just composing the words using a tape recorder or other means of audio creation and then asking someone else to do the book production?

I was working on my third book in my series on Saudi women. In this novel a Saudi woman converts to Christianity and the Saudi authorities are enraged. Conversion from Islam to Christianity is forbidden in Saudi and can lead to death. I have finished several chapters but the motivation just isn't there.

Maggie I tried to download the PDF file from Lulu on my computer but thinking I could unzip the file only to be told that I would have to buy a programme to do that. Apologies for jumping in. If you have a Windows, Linux or BSD system and want a free unzipper program that can handle .ZIP and other compressed formats as well try Peazipbizzley I downloaded Peazip and it worked perfectly. I was able to unzip my source files from Lulu. THANKS so much.

You have to charge so it can reach the top.

Maggie I got mine on ebay but my friend got her's here, www.nuance.com/en-gb/dragon.html Mine is an earlier version but it works well. It does make a few errors but my friend says her latest version hardly makes any mistakes. Her Dragon was quite expensive though!

Don't all android devices and Win10 PC's have voice-to-text already installed? I know my little Lenovo tablet did, and it seems like that was one of the intrusive things I needed to disable with my new Win10 machine.

I think this is it, Maggie:
On your Android, go to Settings / Language & Input. Then under the Default section there is a checkbox called Google voice typing.
I may be in error though. I tried it once years ago and it had poor performance for me. I do have a friend that uses it to send me text messages and it works fine. Theirs is a much newer version than mine though.
