I think this is it, Maggie: On your Android, go to Settings / Language & Input. Then under the Default section there is a checkbox called Google voice typing. I may be in error though. I tried it once years ago and it had poor performance for me. I do have a friend that uses it to send me text messages and it works fine. Theirs is a much newer version than mine though. Even better; it's on the Android. I can write while outdoors.

I thought it may be on Chromebook but it's not. My daughter used Chromebook for school. She said it was useless. You can't download anything. Chromebook is owned by google and they want you to do everything through them, aps, books, google play store, etc. So far because I don't want lots of aps it's been fine for me, but as your daughter says it has it's limitations. PS That's why I have to go upstairs in my chairlift to access Dragon. Initially I bought a small pad that had windows 10, but I had to return it because I kept getting a virus, in spite of the free protection I had installed. Anyway I returned it and the salesman told me that Windows is a target for those nasty virus people. I asked for something that didn't use Windows and wasn't very expensive and he suggested the Chromebook. Google does protect it very well. My son likes the Apple pad that he got for my grandchild but it was very expensive.

That's true you can download it from Google Play for Chromebook, but then I would have to pay again. It's expensive! I'll just go up in my stair lift and use my Dragon on my computer.

Apologies for jumping in. If you have a Windows, Linux or BSD system and want a free unzipper program that can handle .ZIP and other compressed formats as well try Peazipbizzley I downloaded Peazip and it worked perfectly. I was able to unzip my source files from Lulu. THANKS so much. I downloaded Peazip as well. Let's see.
