No worries, we get books up and running all the time around here, let's see what you've got to work with if you don't mind answering a few questions first. What stage are you at with the main body copy of your book....... Have you created a PDF of the correct size of the finished work all ready to upload to Lulu or...... Do you have it as a document file somewhere and are wondering how to make it the correct size as per the template? And if you make or have made it the correct size do you have the capability or software to then turn it into a PDF file? And for the the Cover, what stage are you at with it...... Have you got everything you need - front, back and spine graphics, bar code (if required) and text all prepped and ready to go? Do you have the capability or software to take all the bits that make up a cover and combine them into one single PDF or JPG file? And if you can do that is the problem that you can't understand what all the stuff on the Cover template means, or you do and are having trouble getting it all to measure up correctly? What software are you using to create your book, cover and PDF files, and what type of computer are you running it on? Have you put a book together before like this on the old Lulu system or with another company, and does talk of Bleeds and Gutters make perfect sense to you or is it all gibberish? All of this may seem pretty daunting but you're in the right place. Hopefully you will learn for yourself how to go through the whole procedure, it's only thanks to Lulu making a complete balls-up when they changed their book creation system months ago that dealing with templates has become such a problem. OK, let's see where you're at and we'll take it from there.
