I am having problems appoving the proof copy for global distribution. This is in spite of me having made two self-purchases of the book.
It is very sad that I am having to ask for advice on a forum - because I know that Lulu's support is poor, slow, or non-existent.
Has anybody else had this problem?
I did think it might be due to the browser not clearing the cache but the same problem happens on two browsers.
I am on the final stage of swapping to Ingram Spark. Thanks for the advice on this. Enough is enough.

Print copy? Is this your hardback or soft version. Different ISBNs? Error Messages? Screen messages/responses. (Post screen shots if you can).

I’m more than a tad confused as you seem to posting on multiple threads. So are you producing both hardback and soft back versions. Have you created just a single Word document for both? If so which versions are fully approved? If not which one is okay? Are both books the same page size?
Do you have two different Word docs? If that is the case what’s the difference between the two.
Picking up another thread have you tried to change the page size using PDFs, if that is the case the margins in the converted one are probably wrong.
It shouldn’t cause problems using tables and special features but Word is not the ideal tool for serious page design. Consider investing in and learning Adobe InDesign or ask someone like Maggie to take your base documents and do it for you?

No, this is a completely different thing really
I have surmounted all of the design issues
The paperback meets all the requirements for going global
The last stage of the game is to self-purchase a copy and approve it so it can appear on Amazon etc. At this point, it's not recognising that I have purchased a proof copy and am ready to approve it.

Ah, okay. Have you actually received the proof copy?

Yes I have
I did have this issue around two years ago - when it was still possible to do that chat function with Lulu staff.
I solved it by using a different browser as the cache settings can sometimes store an older version of a web page. I might try it on a completely different browser - have tried two already.

Thanks everybody - solved
I used Firefox - but if anybody else has the same issue - use a different browser!

Well done. Known problems with Safari. Firefox regularly suggested for IOS problems.

I have had no problems with the Lulu site using Firefox on Win7. I purchased and approved two proofs since the upgrade with no issues.
