Part 1:
Suppose someone wanted to create a Kindle edition of a printed book, but limit distribution to one individual.
Part 2:
Could that individual download it from Amazon onto their Kindle device?
Part 3:
Does a Kindle reader that precedes the Paperwhite reader have the ability to load a Kindle book via USB or Bluetooth / Local Wifi, skipping Amazon altogether? And if so, would that file be secure from upload to Amazon?

1. No, not through Amazon. 2. Not if it’s not on Amazon 3. You could email or file transfer it from your PC to them. They could upload it to anywhere!

I have all my kindle books on my phone, but they are only readable from within the Kindle app. Online via PC, the Kindle Cloud Reader.
